There are real differences between the modern day conservative and the modern day liberal. Here are just a few. I have tried to find the original source for these words but couldn’t find them.

    conservatives don’t give liberals the freedom to enslave everyone by their stupid tree hugging hippy rules, they hate it when we call them on it

  2. staticjeff says:

    @Stupideyez
    so your saying that Jesus would be for abortion, homosexuality, and living off welfare when the Bible clearly states
    Abortion is murder and the 10 Commandments say that “You shall not murder”
    Homosexuality: Leviticus 18:22 Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.
    Welfare: 2 Thessalonians 3:10 For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”

    you don’t know Jesus, don’t put labels on him

  3. Gerow100 says:

    @Stupideyez No I don’t think so from what I’ve gathered the conservatives are trying to restore america to the constitution. Liberals claim they are trying to do the same thing. Neither has accomplished this. I wouldnt say they are going for nazism more towards communism (very different)

  4. zachgre1 says:

    The end is true but rest is not.

  5. gmenfan48 says:

    @Stupideyez haha wow you are awful when it comes to interpreting the Bible…when it says that it means materialistic things and things we make out to be important in our world mean nothing when talking about faith. People these days interpret the Bible so literally its no wonder no one understands the deeper meaning of it anymore.

  6. Stupideyez says:

    @gmenfan48 The Bible is pretty clear when it comes to the rich:
    “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God”
    By todays standards Jesus would have been a pretty far left winger.

  7. gmenfan48 says:

    @Stupideyez thats the exact opposite of what I’m trying to say…when you let money and greed take over your life, it can bring you away from faith and cause all kinds of evil. Liberals consider Conservatives to be money grabbing, guns hot assholes but in reality a “Conservative” knows how to use money wisely to benefit his/her company. The Bible says nothing about the correct usage of money, simply how the LOVE of it is the root of evil.

  8. Stupideyez says:

    @gmenfan48 Are you honestly trying to say that the Bible preaches that capitalism and greed is a good thing? The Bible preaches the complete opposite.

  9. Stupideyez says:

    @Gerow100 While I agree that America is heading towards doom I disagree that all political parties are heading towards nazism. Only the extreme conservatives running the US are going in that direction.

  10. thematt121295 says:

    @midgety1 freedom hating nazis? explain how conservatives are like that

  11. Gerow100 says:

    @Stupideyez All political parties are heading that way my friend. The constituyion is mattring less and less everyday to our government. I hate to say it but america is heading down the pipes.

  12. Gerow100 says:

    @DeadProphetsFate O you poor mislead child You have no idea what the true meaning of being a conservative is.

  13. Serpent541 says:

    No “offended” like the video says. Find it hilarious at how biased it is.

  14. DeadProphetsFate says:

    @scoopolard Read my comment again, look up the definition of liberal and conservative one or two times( or however many it takes for you to comprehend it) and tell me why im “very naive”… I’ll FORGIVE you for that comment just to show you I understand the Bible very well.

  15. TreyParkersBitch says:

    This video is ridiculous. You really think a gay conservative wouldn’t want to be recognized as legally married or be allowed to deserve in the military? How is that demanding “legislated respect”? And no, liberals (rational ones anyway) don’t want any mention of God silenced. They just don’t want it shoved down everyone’s throats. Absolutely ridiculous video.

  16. 1RedshirtXLG says:

    Clever video. Loved it

  17. scoopolard says:

    @DeadProphetsFate ur a very naive individual that has no understanding of the conservative viewpoint or the bible.

  18. SteinUndStahl666 says:

    @redcoyote7

    I totally agree. I’m an Atheist Conservative, and I’ve always found Conservative “Christians” to be living examples of any oxymoron.

  19. Stupideyez says:

    Haha this is hilarious. Good job making liberals sound like Nazis when your very own Republican party is almost there itself.

  20. thor123422 says:

    @redcoyote7 Censorship and stopping freedom of expression of other ideas whether on youtube or in government is still censorship.

  21. thor123422 says:

    If a conservative doesn’t like guns he mis-quotes the constitution saying he has a right to them

    If a Liberal doesn’t like guns (or does, it doesn’t matter) he acknowledges the huge amount of accidents that occur because of gun use and lack of training of the laymen

    If a conservative is a vegetarian he switches back to omnivore because he thinks it is a sign of weakness to do otherwise
    If a liberal . he sees the pain caused to sentient beings and the inefficent industry and wants to change it.

  22. BananaBreakable says:

    made my day

  23. mcgge7 says:

    @DeadProphetsFate oh and killing babies is “liber” same thing about no freedom of speech or religion or press.

  24. mcgge7 says:

    @DeadProphetsFate tell me banning freedom of speech and press isn’t “liberating”

  25. mcgge7 says:

    @DeadProphetsFate uhh your contradicting yourself, you quote the bible to support your claims then say it doesn’t say in the bible Thou shall not kill.

  26. wjb45958 says:

    I think his critique of the left, which is compelling, also extends to Republicans. He would also have to admit that those Republicans that assert that tax cuts are the solution to every problem aren’t seriously addressing trade-offs.

  27. OnlyAPawn1970 says:

    goddamn he’s a genius!

  28. mikerotcherson says:

    @AroundSun
    What does any of this have to do with you capslock-ridden preaching?

  29. AroundSun says:

    @mikerotcherson Relax, Im on your side. Liberals just want bigger government than your average conservatives. Conservatives want bigger government than your average libertarians.

  30. mikerotcherson says:

    @AroundSun
    That sure is a lot of dichotomy talk for a guy who started this whole thing by saying the dichotomous left/right paradigm is wrong.

  31. AroundSun says:

    @mikerotcherson You are either for more government and more control over our lives by others, or you are for less government and less control in the hands of a few. You are either for more taxes and more spending, or you are for less taxes and less spending. Government, in the US atleast, is only supposed to provide for our courts, police, and defense. THAT”S IT!!! Politics is not supposed to be a battle for the treasury. Everyone in the US should be a classic liberal (libertarian)

  32. AroundSun says:

    @15hmael Governments created them A HUNDRED YEARS AGO to subsidize things we needed. The very banks and corporations people despise would HATE to have a free market in which they actually have to compete with each other. They love the government handouts and regulations that limit competition.

  33. 15hmael says:

    @AroundSun Corporations are state enforced unions for the rich.They are not creations of the free market.Governments create corporations to attract investors by shielding them from the risks of entrepreneurship, in other words privatize risks and socialize costs.Why do corporations fund political campaigns? It would be interesting to see the free market in action without either of these institutions.

  34. mikerotcherson says:

    @Salvysahagun
    No, technically I believe there is one political spectrum.

    And the word is “absurd”. And what the hell is a “democrate”? Is that like some kind of crate that is used only as a demonstration?

  35. Salvysahagun says:

    @mikerotcherson
    So you believe that their is only two political spectrums on earth?
    obsurd. It’s impossible.

    Proof of this is that Liberalism includes Free-Ungregulated markets.
    Something democrates hate.

  36. Salvysahagun says:

    @1anniehiatt
    Who the fuck changed my views??/
    You haven’t even heard my views.

  37. jackspratism says:

    @ThatBlackPanda “We have had ‘angels’ who organized society for us…”

    Now I’ve heard everything.

  38. AroundSun says:

    Besides, what is wrong with profits? Profits are only derived from voluntary action. This whole notion that profitting is bad is ridiculous. What about losses? When there is a lack of voluntary interaction (because of high prices, low wages, or bad customer service, etc.) then they suffer losses. Businesses that profit the most make the largest contributions to the economy, or else nobody would choose them. You have more power with your dollar than with your vote.

  39. AroundSun says:

    @ThatBlackPanda Corporations are not governments. The main difference between government and the private sector is that one uses force and coercion, always having an unlimited amount of capital. The other relies on voluntary exchange and mutual consent to gain revenues, and always has a limited amount of capital. This is what makes the private sector more efficient than the government could ever be, by design. Capitalism doesn’t allow you to steal, it allows you to trade.

  40. AroundSun says:

    @ThatBlackPanda We’ve had angels? LMAO. Who?? Even if we had angels and messiahs in government, the people can still make better decisions than a few at the top. We can’t force government to do anything because both parties are in big businesses pockets. That is why you need a limited government that cant take from some groups and give to others. Businesses wouldn’t have incentives to give politicians money if government wasn’t able to give handouts. We need to follow the constitution.

  41. ThatBlackPanda says:

    @AroundSun
    I don’t know if you read my comment, but cooperations are governments.
    We have had “angels” who organized society for us, but lets not fall to the great men of history debate.
    I never assumed that government gives a damn about the people, it does not want to give a damn about the people, luckily we can force it to move in our interest due to the fact that it (should) lack a profit motive. This is why politicians should not have profit motives, politics must be leveled.

  42. AroundSun says:

    @ThatBlackPanda You are assuming that the government DOES give a damn about “the people” and no matter who is in office, they will. Like Friedman says, “where are you going to find these angels who are going to organize society for us?”

  43. 1anniehiatt says:

    @Salvysahagun The fact that you are telling us not to buy into it is proving that you believe it yourself and see that it makes sense but are denying it. Just be okay with the fact that he is right and change your views. He did and it has gotten him a long way. Any way you phrase it there will always be good and evil. You just have to choose which side you are on.

  44. Htown75 says:

    Wal-Mart? Because they are pieces of shit who utilize financial slave laborers in 3rd world countries…..don’t worry Conservatives, when the GOP wins out and makes the US a 3rd world country, then they’ll think of bringing the jobs back for $2 a day! Enjoy suckers!

  45. darwinkilledgod says:

    @TEX10261 Not quite…liberals want to help the poor. The problem is that actually helping the poor takes effort. But saying you want to help the poor, and taxing other people to do it, costs you nothing. So that’s what they do. And they get annoyed when you point out that that doesn’t work, because it makes them less than the angels they are.

  46. TEX10261 says:

    liberals want the poor to stay poor

  47. MrNonintendo says:

    Here in Brazil Lula says that he raised minimum wage a lot. And now we have these inflated prices together with another failing social securty sistem.

  48. mikerotcherson says:

    @Salvysahagun
    Basic literary jargon: capitalized letters are not a bigger font.

    And there is no refutation needed. You didn’t even clarify what your argument is, let alone support it with anything. I love how people who have no argument think they are making one by simply turning on capslock.

  49. Salvysahagun says:

    @mikerotcherson
    Basic marketing principle.
    People are more likely to read sentences in bigger fonts.

    I love how people who have no arguments like to change the subject.

  50. mikerotcherson says:

    @Salvysahagun
    You mean you can’t BE BOTHERED to spell while you’re preaching to the masses through your capitalized pulpiteering.
