This video is a good example of how far down the sludge pit political dialog has dipped today. No doubt that Rush is a divisive character and many people are passionate about the political positions, but nothing was acomplished by this. No one got any point accross. No one debated or discussed anything. Until we can put our emotions in check and express clear concise points, until we, as a nation demand civility in political discourse, we acomplish nothing and political discourse is reduced to the level of reality TV drama. What a pity.

Victor, you say that as if there were ever any possibility of reasonable discourse on Rush Limbaugh’s show. Not that I disagree with the necessity for civil discussion/debate, not that I think it doesn’t do a disservice to such discourse to scream bumper sticker slogans at people–just saying.

The juvenile in me still found it amusing.
Pedant point: it may be “today” in a broader sense, but it was filmed in 1990.

Filmed in 1990 I thought he looked a little pudgy. I didn’t think he still had a show.
The show where this went down was Pat Sajak’s talk show, where Rush guest hosted.
The empty gallery shot = instant classic.
