Bohemian Grove
Jonathan Rowe on Dec 18th 2006
Now, to me, that sounds like a great name for a rock band. I had never heard of it before. It’s one of those “buzzwords” — in fact the latest one — that the right wing, black helicopter crowd, conspiracy freaks throw out. Add that name to the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderbergers, the Freemasons, the Illuminati, the New World Order, etc.
Apparently it’s an elite old boys club with a lot of prominent members. George Bush is a member, and the conspiracy nuts believe this so called conservative Christian President is a secret devil worshipper, that his group practices mock human sacrifices to the god Moloch and engages in homosexual behavior.
Oh, and they also believe 9-11 was a government conspiracy.
I often hear these nuts call C-SPAN (and Brian Lamb frequently takes note of the high volume of conspiracy nut calls). I used to think there must be a lot of them out there. Now, after doing entertaining research on John Connor — one of the head nuts in the movement — I’m convinced that there are about three or four of them…and all they do, all day is repeatedly call talk shows. It’s the same three or four people. This guy Connor documents his obsession on the Internet.
I first found out about him when Technorati linked to an interview Connor did with Danny Bonaduce (it’s great to see Bonaduce put him in his place):
Then from links, we see this guy make obsessive, repeated phone calls to Michael Savage, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, Alan Colmes, and others.
It’s fun to listen to the rightwing talk radio guys make mince meat of this conspiracy wingnut. I guess talk radio is good for something.
Oh, and he hates Freemasons and Mormons as well.
Finally, here is where wingnut Alex Jones confronts David Gergen a member of the Bohemian Grove. It’s funny, after the interview concludes, Jones yells to Gergen “say hi to Moloch for me.”

Now that you’ve finished the same predictable bashing sessions of all those who have come before you, why don’t you address the actual issues? Granted, Jones and Connor do come off as sounding nutty most of the time, and although I don’t particularly care for their approach or methods, I happen to think that their information about the BG is extremely intriguing and useful. Instead of dedicating your time to attacking them personally, why don’t you address their claims of these so-called Christian men engaging in Luciferian, Babylonian ritual? Do you believe that this is truly occurring? If not, then how do you intend to refute the enormous plethora of evidence?
What about the video evidence? What about all the precedent dating back as far as 120 years ago, substantiating that the members of BG do in fact engage in these bizarre rituals? I am a Christian man, and I consider myself to be a reasonable individual. I am a pre law student. I pride myself in investigating the facts. The facts say that Mr. Jones and Mr. Connor are correct. The fact that they seem to be obnoxious in their approach is irrelevant. You stated “It’s fun to listen to the rightwing talk radio guys make mince meat of this conspiracy wingnut. I guess talk radio is good for something (reffering to Sean Hannity, and Alan Colmes, ect).” These men hardly made “mince meat” out of John Connor. They complelty dodged the issues! All they were able to do was attack him personally; the same exact approach that your taking with this ridiculous essay. I happen to be a fan of Sean Hannity, but he saddend me that day with his closed minded mentality and railroad tactic that he perpetrated against Mr. Connor. He clearly dodged the issue, and you know it.
GET WITH THE PROGRAM. ANSWER THE QUESTIONS; YOU’RE NOT BEING REASONABLE. IF YOU WERE IN A COURT OF LAW, I WOULD CHEW YOU UP AND SPIT YOU OUT IN A MATTER OF SECONDS WITH YOUR AD HOMINEM ATTACKS AND SPIN ARGUMENTS. You’re clearly attempting to create a diversion from the main issue with this essay you have written, and you should be ashamed of yourself. It’s time to man up sir; please answer the questions.
Dear SoandSo -
Why is it that people like you always have the time to mock and denegrate people of faith?
Is it because you, yourself are driven to such behavior by the Devil himself?
You seem to forget that God made all men different, whether Christian or not.
There are also true believers and those that say they are and are not.
For you to lump all Christians into the same little box shows your lack of education, lack of insight and a definite lack of spirituality.
I frankly pity you and those like you - if a Christian tells you that the Bible says that you need to confess your sins and accept Christ as Lord and Saviour, live right and prepare for Heaven - and they do - but you don’t - who’s the one with greater wisdom?
Answer - Obviously, they are.
It is always wise to prepare for things, is it not?
So, if they turn out to be right and you wrong - guess who will suffer for their lack of preparedness?
Homeland Security may tell you to prepare for eventualities…but the Bible tells you to prepare for the ultimate in eventualities…
Make your choice and don’t mock the messenger,

How does this post mock God or people of faith? Are Alex Jones and John Connor, people who think George Bush is a devil worshipping bisexual, good representatives of Christianity (I never said they were) who you are trying to defend? It’s them, not ordinary Christians who I am mocking.
Dear Mr. Rowe -
When you call people, who question the behavior and secret lives of their leaders, rightwing nutters and other such names, are you not, subtily, poking at Christians?
And what, pray tell, is an ordinary Christian?
A real Christian is never ordinary, but sure to engender controversy.
I find it hard to believe that people are so naive and so ignorant about what is really going on behind the scenes.
I don’t personally know Alex Jones or John Connor, but they are not conspiracy nutcases - they are doing a service to us all, at great risk to their own lives.
The fact is, there is, undeniably, a real Devil out there and he does have those whose mission in life is to destroy anything Christian, and to conform America and the world to their idea of a utopia; however, deluded they may be.
President George Bush, a devil worshipping bisexual?
I don’t know.
I have prayed for the man many times.
I have supported him when others have knocked him.
I find many things I have seen and heard about him and his family that confuse and disturb me; as to his confession of Christ as his Saviour.
The hand signals, the bows at shrines, the outbursts of blasphemy and his decisions about Israel and other issues.
This all may stem from the simple fact that he has not yet had a ‘heartcentered’ conversion, but only that of the mind.
With some of us, it takes longer for the Lord to reach into our hearts, where He then can become the Lord of our lives.
If we were truly saved, that will become a reality; as it did in my life many years ago.
At present, he may be a ‘babe in Christ.’ If a babe in Christ does not get fed properly, it’s growth can be stunted; just like with babies in the natural sense.
Some say that Pres. Bush is saying he is a Christian, as many Freemasons do, and really are living the opposite in their agendas.
I guess time will tell.
I think God gives a nation the leader they deserve or need.
If he and others choose to have ulterior motives - all we can do as a people is pray for them that they will turn from doing evil and do what’s right.
They should know that there is a law of reciprocity that you can’t escape from.
And why mock at all?
It’s just not very nice and certainly not Christian to do so.
We should never belittle others - rebuke, correct and instruct in rightstanding, yes.
Questions should be answered by our leaders…it is never, ‘none of our business,’ as Mr. Gergen, seems to believe.
They are not a law unto themselves - they are accountable to those who put them in office, but especially to God, who expects them to rule with integrity.

I am trying to research Sean Hannity online but I only get pro-Hannity websites and blogs or John Connor links, and this one feature both lol. Jonathan Rowe, you actually are a fan of Hannity? I like that John Connor is trying to stand up against the controlled mainstream media but I don’t think Bohemian Grove is the most important topic, but then again I am not religious. I don’t actually think Hannity believes what he says, he is just paid to divide our country into the right and left and sadly enough it is working. Anyone have actually info on Hannity’s early life?

As the comments amply demonstrate, evangelical Christians are shallow, ignorant, cowardly hatemongers who love to attack anyone who does not share their exact twisted and distorted misreading of the Bible. In short, they are nuts.
Aaron –
I approved your comment in the moderation queue. But please try to avoid these kinds of statements in the future. Not all evangelical Christians are like the ones you describe.
