A Gay-Related Incident?

Jonathan Rowe on Jun 19th 2006

Clayton Cramer and Southern Appeal have noted this incident which is being touted as an example of pro-gay intolerance, with a young child as the victim. The problem is, at least according to this website, that the incident in question had nothing to do with gay issues whatsoever. Just a shameless misrepresentation and exploitation of a playground fight by anti-gay forces, apparently.

Looks as though bettnet.com isn’t letting that last link through from here.

And they cluck about gays being intolerant.

I would urge your readers to visit both lexingtoncares.org and massresistance.com and do a little compare-and-contrast for themselves. It’s instructive.

The bettnet.com article can be found here:

    Jon’s link is apparently faulty.

Well, it still won’t work for some reason. If you go to the Southern Appeal blog entry, you can reach it from there.

Having seen some of Clayton Cramer’s silly comments on other web sites, it strikes me that he has a rather–how shall I put it–interesting fascination with homosexuals and homosexuality.

Feddie at Southern Appeal is going off his usual deep end. Oh, yes, let’s see. This was a school-yard altercation among 1st graders. 1st graders are usually on the order of six years old. They would have been on the order of four years old in 2004, when the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court’s Goodridge decision went into effect. I’m sure that four year old kids were aware of the decision in 2004, so that they could attack a six year old in 2006.

Feddie is apparently a recovering Southern Baptist who converted to the Roman Catholic Church, Inc., Opus Dei branch. That’s about like jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire.

I’m amazed, too, at the selective outrage here: Gay and effeminate boys get beat up in schools all across the United States every single day, and there’s no doubt whatsoever about the reason.

Meanwhile, here’s one kid, who gets beaten up once, and maybe not even that. And it’s national news.

Grover, I suspect they have blocked our site, as I said above.

    I got through just fine.

I’m still getting a message saying I don’t have permission to view the file.

Oddly enough, now that happens to me, too.
